Slavek Kwi is humanoid avatar of sonic-entity alfa00 (aka sonoent00) in the role of sound- artist, music composer, educator and researcher interested in the phenomena of perception as the fundamental determinant of relations with reality. He has a long-standing fascination with sound environment, developing what he terms ‘sound-paintings’ (he has synaesthesia) that oscillate between sound only works and interdisciplinary works exploring social, spatial and temporal processes.

From the early nineties Slavek has operated under moniker of Artificial Memory Trace (https://artificialmemorytrace.bandcamp.com). Then, gradually Kwi evolved into disembodied and genderless sound-entity alfa00 (aka sonoent00)

In 2020 Kwi founded 1st Free Sounds Sanctuary as part of Mountshannon Arts Festival (https://soundctuary.bandcamp.com), claiming and freeing segment of land and underwater realm of Lough Derg, Eastern Clare, Atlantic side of Ireland.

In early 80ties Kwi co-founded with Jaroslav Palát short-lived noise-formation Quarantaine.

Nowadays Kwi work is focussed on deep listening, non-verbal communication and education via abstraction. Slavek is involved in Creative Schools, a project of Arts Council of Ireland, he may be spotted undercover as Creative Associate or Alien Intelligence Agent in numerous schools in Clare and surrounding counties in Ireland.
