Collective work and collaboration is a lifelong challenge and an ideal to me. Politically active since middle school days I aim to reform education and DIY organisation of human communities. Early artistic works in interventional performances and as DJ. I studied European Ethnology, Cultural Anthropology, Gender Studies, Philosophy at Humboldt-University Berlin, study stays in Palo Alto, CA and Zurich. Degree in Visual Fine Arts at Academy of Visual Arts (HGB) Leipzig, Class of Prof. Astrid Klein. Member of art collective Ramon Haze. Founder of trans-disciplinary artist collective La Casa Automatika. Additional education in Sound Design. Artistic Director of club Zentrale Randlage e.V., organising and promoting shows, concerts, performances, lectures, etc. Providing a platform for arts and music, inter'l networking and information exchange. Founding member of art association Buscha 11 e.V. to preserve an abandoned farm and the collections of Ramon Haze. Co-curator of the world only garden radio art festival Datscha Radio 17, broadcasting from an allotment garden in Berlin in 2017; next edition planned for 2020.
Activist to establish a free community radio in Berlin, board member of AMARC (World Association of Community Radio Broadcasters) Europe with main focus on equality and emancipative matters and international cooperation. Speaker and workshop facilitator, culture journalist, radio host, writer, sound and visual artist. 2018 I had the NOVOPO residency, exploring art making in a rural commune. With Datscha Radio 17 team I participated in the exhibition In the Neighbourhood #3 at Kunstpunkt Berlin as part of Project Spaces festival 2018. My sonic collaboration with Christian Gierden was shortlisted for the Berlin Hörspielpreis, the radio drama “Haze's Garden Radio” was broadcast in Zimbawe, Canada, France a.o. As part of the retrospective “Der Schrank von Ramon Haze” at museum abteiberg, Mönchengladbach I will present a new sound piece in March 2019.
